About
Well, Nekkerhal – Brussels North is owned by Easyfairs. Easyfairs is active in 17 countries and hosts 218 own events and 10 venues of its own, 4 of which are situated in Belgium.
In our country alone it hosts more than 400 events at Antwerp Expo, Flanders Expo, Namur Expo and Nekkerhal – Brussels North.
Opening hours tend to vary from one event to another. But, if it’s someone at Nekkerhal you want to speak to, it’s best to call between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m to +32 (0)15 551 001. Or you can always just drop in.
We do have a sustainability policy, yes. Our hall and parking are lit by energy-efficient LED bulbs. We sort our waste and have containers for glass, wood and PMD. We give every stand holder waste paper baskets to recycle their used paper. Furthermore, electric vehicles can be charged at our parking and we keep about 80.000 bees in our bee hives.
Accessibility
Get to Nekkerhal Brussels North quickly using Mechelen’s city bikes. Convenient and fast!
Take bus 2 to the Bleekstraat stop. From there, it’s a 1 km (15-minute) walk to Nekkerhal. Alternatively, take bus 1 and get off at the Weidestraat stop — from there it’s also a 1 km walk.
Nekkerhal is also within walking distance of the ‘Nekkerspoel’ train station.
Take the Mechelen-Noord exit (E19 Brussels – Antwerp) and follow the signs for ‘Centrum’ and ‘Heist op den Berg’. Then follow the ‘Nekker’ signs and, after passing Mechelen Nekkerspoel station, take the N15.
Paid parking is available at the visitors’ parking of Nekkerhal Brussels North. Our own parking lot can accommodate approximately 1,300 cars.
Accessible parking spaces for wheelchair users are provided at both entrances of Nekkerhal Brussels North.

Hosting a meeting? Our venue welcomes groups from 300 people. Wedding and private parties are also possible in our spaces.

Technically, no. Unless they are guide dogs, of course. Or unless the event advertises that pets are welcome. A trade show for cats or dogs, for example. Just to be certain, always check the website for the show or event concerned.
Please note that assistance dogs are always allowed (with papers and harness).
No, it is not. E-cigarettes are banned as well. Smoking is only allowed outside.
Our hall and toilet facilities are accessible to wheelchair users . We have wheelchairs available that can be used free of charge in exchange for your ID card.
